Many of you will already be aware that I am a keen road cyclist. I have a cycling and fitness blog that I’m keeping updated right here … its called Girl On A Roadie (Roadie = road bike). Victoria’s Brit Bits in Models Mania!
As of August 2012, I am now a monthly feature writer for US-based model and talent magazine, Models Mania!
Victoria’s Brit Bits is a double page spread which gives my take on what’s hot this side of the pond here in the UK. It features things such as celebrities, events, beauty, media, new and interesting products, charity affairs and much more.
It is an honour to be writing for Models Mania, who have recently celebrated their one year anniversary. I have watched them grow and been involved right from the start as one of their featured models, so it is with great pleasure that I am now contributing on a monthly basis. Coming soon… “A day in the life of Victoria Shelley”
Over the last couple of months I’ve been working on a project with my friend Preslava McCarthy, who is a 2nd year Journalism student at Portsmouth University. As part of her video journalism course she has been filming me going about my day to day duties, and chatting about the things I do work-wise. The video is entirely filmed and edited by Preslava, and will soon be available on my official website and You Tube. Viewers will be able to see me in action on a photo shoot, a book signing, along with some sofa chat at home. The video also features an exclusive VIP interview. Here is a sneak preview, some screen shots from the work-in-progress. Watch this space! I can’t wait to share it with you!

Mercedes Rocks, Cafe Shore
Last night I went to the launch party for Mercedes Rocks www.mercedesrocks.com down at Cafe Shore, Sandbanks. This glamorous event was graced by some very beautiful local ladies and gentleman who all took advantage of the complimentary signature cocktails! We had the highly skilled Christian Lawson and Justin Bavosi of Epic Photographers Bournemouth www.epicphotographers.co.uk doing the official event photos, plus a film crew who were there to capture the fantastic atmosphere. I’m sure there were a few sore heads this morning! In all, a great party and definitely one for the record book.
New Face of CHIC
Following a recent makeover and photoshoot at CHIC beauty and makeover studios of Bournemouth, I have been chosen to represent their company brand as the model on their flyers, posters and advertisements.
